The photo of "egg and owner" on the news page refers to a competition to decorate an egg to look most like its owner. A neighbour threatened to shave his head and paint it white, but didn't do so even though he would then have won.
A part of any outdoor Norwegian party is sharpening sticks from the forest to use for toasting sausages over the fire.
