But what are all these sticks doing here?
They are the sticks that spend the winter lining the roads so that we can tell
where the edge of the road is when everywhere is covered in snow,
and as a guide for the snow-plough driver.
Gathering them in means that spring has arrived - supposedly.
More snow is forecast for tonight!
